Jewelry designer, Elizabeth Glanville, has long helped Houston shine, having run its Cartier and Bulgari stores. Unafraid to change, she created her own collection four years ago—timeless-butedgy pieces, with colorful gems—and later opened DeVille Fine Jewelry (5700 Woodway Dr., 281.501.3810). Now the 40-something with a penchant for Givenchy is making changes in the River Oaks manse she shares with energy-exec hubby Tom and their two kids. In one room, a Chippendale set is making way for a mirrored table and glam chandelier. “My style,” she says, “is moving from traditional into modern.”
