After a long weekend of clients and makeup… we’re still at it! Doing Makeup on a gorgeous Monday afternoon is alright with me when our client is the The Skin Specialist, Vanessa Tort … lovely co-owner of Estilo Salon and Spa.

When we met our muse for today’s beauty gig, she was filled with a nervous energy about her endeavors in front of the camera. Vanessa claimed, “I am no model!”. This may be true…. but she surely looks like one from my vantage point! (I think some what Christi Turlington-ish). Getting this pretty woman camera ready for her photo shoot with a luxury beauty magazine was going to be a breeze.

Amazing Skin
Vanessa Tort has amazing skin and it’s a testament how she cares for her own skin as well as her fabulous clientele’s most important feature.. the Face. Which gives us a perfect connection since we both want to put a woman’s best face-forward. So I could at least calm her about one thing, giving her a classic-glam look the CBeauty Way. Which segues right into how Capuchino Beauty created today’s makeup look….

Achieve This Look
I used Bobbi Brown Foundation sparingly to enhance her flawless skin. Then I…
- Sealed it with bit of MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powder in Medium.
- Gave her a soft contour and highlight with MAC Bronzing Powder in Matte Bronze and MAC Mineralized Skinfinish in Lightscapade.
- Flushed the cheeks with Dior Blush in Happy Cherry and gave her eyes some depth with Dune, Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eyeshadow Palette by Chanel.
- Lined the eye with Engraved MAC Pro Longwear Eyeliner and a double “stack” of lashes for sheer volume.
I finished the look off with a stunning red lip with Kiss Me Quick Pro Longwear Lip Pencil by MAC and Tom Ford Lip Color in Cherry Lush. I say my job of giving a dose of Capuchino Beauty was a success since she kept shouting “I LOVE IT!” Lol!
…Now for how she calmed the rest of her nerves…. well I’m sure she had no problem handling it “Face-First.” 😉
